Blender 3D Modeling Studies

Project Type: 3D Design & Visualization
Role: 3D Modeling, Material Workflow, Artistic Development

Overview
This project brings together two creative explorations in Blender — aimed at building competence in 3D modeling, material workflows, and rendering. One focused on a futuristic robotic arm, while the other was a photo-realistic donut, both serving as exercises in mastering Blender’s diverse toolset.

Approach
The robotic arm was partially tutorial-based, then adapted and expanded through creative experimentation. Modeled with attention to detail, it features a mechanical base with fans, control modules, and articulated joints, all rendered in a clean sci-fi aesthetic.

The donut was created to demonstrate core competencies in Blender, from sculpting to procedural material generation. It utilized geometric nodes, surface & texture painting, and randomized input for sprinkle placement — capturing realistic detail and texture.

Outcome
These two models represent a broad skillset in 3D design and rendering. The robotic arm showcases mechanical complexity and form, while the donut demonstrates full workflow control from base mesh to final render — reflecting a growing mastery of Blender as a creative and technical tool.
